POSTHOLDER QUALITY MANAGER 


On behalf of our client

Our client is based in Germany and is establishing a new charter operator with international destinations.
We are looking for an experienced manager in the aviation industry for the position
QUALITY MANAGER to become part of the Executive Management Team of this new Airline:

The responsibilities of the QM include:
- Implement, facilitate and monitor Quality and Airworthiness Management Systems, including auditing, continuing airworthiness, supplier compliance and performance monitoring throughout the aviation business
- Coordinate compliance with Quality/Airworthiness maintenance regulations and standards throughout Aviation business unit
- To ensure ongoing quality and airworthiness compliance with customer and maintenance regulatory requirements
- Coordinate the establishment of systems to meet the requirements and attain and Air Operators Certification in an EASA equivalent regulatory framework
- Manage and coordinate continuing airworthiness requirements to maintain the Air Operator Certification
- Provide interpretation, advice and guidance within the aviation business unit for Quality/Airworthiness compliance requirements
- Coordinate and conduct Quality/Airworthiness Assurance activities
- Lead audits of the Quality/Airworthiness management system
- Oversee the implementation of corrective actions to external and internal audit findings within the required timescales
- Facilitate the development and review procedures and policies

Qualifications and Experience:
The role requires regular contact with internal and external people and therefore requires excellent communication, preparation and organizational skills. The successful candidate is expected to be a motivated self starter, capable of working independently in a team environment. Educated to degree level with a superior understanding of aircraft operation and maintenance matters and the level of experience necessary to be accepted by the authorities as a Post Holder.
Fluency in written and spoken English, other languages beneficial.

-  Minimum of 5 years Aviation experience
-  Experience managing and coordinating Air Operator Certification requirements and
   certification in an EASA/FAA equivalent CAA framework
-  Experience in developing, implementing and managing operational regulatory
   requirements and policies
-  Knowledge and understanding of European Regulations EASA
-  Hold a recognized degree in engineering, sciences or business management related
   to the aviation industry or suitable equivalent aviation knowledge and experience in
   Quality/Airworthiness
-  Ability to liaise with the relevant LBA and coordinate the LBA oversight activities
-  Experience in the implementation and management of aerospace Quality and
   Airworthiness Management Systems
-  Experience with Quality ISO 9001:2008 regulations

POSTHOLDER GROUND OPERATION MANAGER

Our client is based in Germany and is establishing a new charter operator with international destinations.
We are looking for an experienced manager in the aviation industry for the position
POSTHOLDER GROUND OPERATION MANAGER to become part of the Executive Management Team of this new Airline:

The responsibilities of the GOM include:
- To ensure the safe, punctual and economic operation of all our company flights by establishing or contracting out professional ground handling
- To take all required measures for the security of the aircraft, the passengers, baggage and cargo, in cooperation with the authority and authorities responsible for the security at foreign airport.
- To establish, maintain and conduct training programmes which enable the ground personnel to safely and professionally conduct the ground handling
- To ensure, by regular checks, that ground personnel are being kept up-to-date and properly instructed and trained
- To cooperate closely with the postholder flight operations in the publication of the ground personnel and handling related directives in the OM A, B and D and other instructions
- To ensure that all legal requirements and provisions of the AOC related ground operations are strictly observed
- To act as the Company's representative to all authorities, as far as ground operations are concerned
- Apart from the overriding aspect of safety, to have due regard for economy when concluding contracts with other companies providing ground handling services
- To monitor any contractor employed by the company and ensure that they meet the required standards
